I only read the introduction and some of the first chapter of the text. I learned a lot about the differences between Deuteronomy and the Tetrateuch (first four books of the Torah) and the historic background of the text. I wish that he had used Hebrew letters instead of their transliteration, or had included a chart showing how each Hebrew letter is represented in English. (The Library of Congress has a chart.)
