Cherishing Mrs. Right (Romantic Destinations) by Debbie White
Each thought they knew where all roads lead, until fate throws a monkey wrench and knocks their worlds off balance.  Real life plays a key role in Darla and Cody's maze of romance.  The theme is obvious, yet the joy the story brings makes up for that.

Finding Mrs. Right (Romantic Destinations) by Debbie White
Gabe confirms what women have known since the beginning of time.  Men are clueless when it comes to matters of the heart.  The playboy bachelor wants someone to call his own, but the poor guy gets more than he bargained for.  Laughs are never ending.  Finding Mrs. Right is a kooky tale of humor and romance.  Tons of fun.

The two short stories in Debbie White’s Christmas Romance were short and sweet. Who doesn’t love reading about Christmas romance. Each story was about strong women as well. The characters were well written and the stories enjoyable. I love the description of the different areas and the hope for snow. Since I’m in Florida, it’s something I must read about and not enjoy.

Saving Peters Tree Farm was a great story showing how a community can come together. When Charlotte Peters moves back to take over the tree farm business after her father’s death, she is faced with a failing business but determined to bring it back. White doing so, she meets up with a once long ago romance.

In Say It Ain’t Snow it’s another short story with the theme of a strong woman. Melissa Curry is trying to save their family ski resort during the past two years with no snow. Then she finds out that the town council is planning to build a detour road that would pass all the small business. She won’t stand for it and fights town council. Once again, she meets a handsome report who not only helps her but also stirs up some feelings.

I found this book to be a lighthearted, easy read. It was a different kind of love story, told from the main character Gabe's view point. I enjoyed the book, but there were a couple of things in the book I had a hard time believing. Gabe was rich, good looking and had his own business, but he couldn't get a date. I understand that he might attract the wrong kind of girls being rich, but it seemed he couldn't attract even those. When he does find Rose, a girl that he is crazy about, she starts ignoring him and not taking his calls, so he sends her a certified letter. The story ends like any good love story, bob gets the girl and they live happily ever after.… (more)
