An extremely interesting small book on the geology of the Brisbane - Ipswich district. This book by the Geological society of Australia, states that, "Brisbane has probably the most complex geological history of all of the Australian Capital cities." Since the geology of a place is the basis of the soils found in that place, this book is very helpful in describing the soils found in those areas. This is key information for gardening, horticulture and understanding wild biodiversity.
