Margaret Olivia Wolfson is an adult and children's writer, storyteller, and educator. In 1982, after completing her Masters degree in performance and literature at New York University, she began recreating and performing traditional myths and tales with world music for young and adult audiences thorugh the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. She has appeared in full-length storytelling concerts in such venues as the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Sydney Opera House, the National Theatre, the United Nations, and in hundreds of schools, universities and other educational and cultural centres. In addition to conducting workshops in the field of storytelling, multicultural and aesthetic education, she brings her love of stories to her work as a consultant and developer in the field of multimedia. She is also the author of a work of creative non-fiction, The Turtle Tattoo [from Marriage of the Rain Goddess (1996)]
