Author Dorothy Wood is a Scottish writer, designer and embroiderer. She has a diploma in Dress and Design from Queen Margaret's College, Edinburgh and studied advanced embroidery at Goldsmiths College, London. She has written a numer of books in the embroidery and quilting fields, but has a particular passion for fine needlework. [from Rennie Mackintosh Inspirations in Embroidery (2004)]
