Award description

The Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, (or Guardian Award) is a prize for works of children's literature by British or Commonwealth Authors. It began in 1967 and has since been awarded annually. Contestants are judged by the review editor for the children's book section of The Guardian, as well as a panel of authors.
