Award description

The Peter C. Rollins Annual Book Award is awarded annually to the ”best“ book in popular culture studies and/or American culture studies. Preferred consideration is given to books on the histories and cultures, including popular cultures, of the Southwest and West. The award is presented by the Southwest Texas Popular and American Culture Association.

In 2013, the Association announced an expansion of the Rollins award to recognize outstanding scholarship in three categories:
