Character description

Anatole Lewitsky (1903-1942) was a French anthropologist and head of the European-Asiatic department at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris. At the start of World War II he co-founded, with Boris Vildé and Yvonne Oddon, the resistance group Groupe du musée de l'Homme. He was caught and shot by the Germans for his activities.
