Character description

As the physician at a gladatorial school, Asklepiodes is an expert on wounds inflicted by all sorts of weapons. His joy at assisting Decius Caecilius Metellus' investigations by examining the wounds of the victims is sometimes a little off-putting to spectators. He own slaves that are qualified physicians in their own right, and together they are a font of forensic information.  His slaves speak only their native Egyptian, to hinder their gossiping about their master's affairs.
