Character description

Beatrice of Provence (1234–1267), was the youngest daughter and eventual heiress of the wealthy domains of Count Raymond Berenguer IV of Provence and Beatrice of Savoy. She married Charles of Anjou, brother of King Louis IX of France (her brother-in-law), who became King Charles I of Naples and Sicily and made Beatrice briefly a queen consort.
