Character description

American chemist, physicist, computer scientist, information theorist, and researcher at IBM. Born 1943. With fellow researcher Gilles Brassard, he developed the idea of quantum cryptography and, with John Smolin, offered a practical demonstration in 1989. Also with Brassard, he conceived the phenomenon of quantum teleportation.
