Character description

Emily Wilding Davison (1872-1913) was a militant British suffragist fighting for women's right to vote.
In 1906, she joined the Women's Social and Political Union and was frequently arrested for her activities. She died after throwing herself in front of King George V's horse at the Epsom Derby.
