Empress Farah Pahlavi of Iran (née Faraḥ Dība, born 14 October 1938, Tabriz, Iran) is the widow of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the late Shah of Iran, and only Empress of modern Iran. She was the Queen consort of Iran 1959–1967, and the Empress consort since 1967,exiled since 1979.
