Character description

Dr. George Angell was a physician from Rhode Island who moved to Illinois in 1853 and became involved in land speculation. He attempted to hire Abraham Lincoln to take his case, but Lincoln had been hired by the opposition, and recommended John T. Stuart to Angell.
