Character description

Harriet Quimby (1875–1912) was a pioneering female American aviator. In 1911, she was the first woman in the USA to be granted a pilot's license and the first woman to fly at night. In 1912, she became the first woman to fly across the English Channel. She was killed in an air accident at age 37.
