Character description

Harriet Westbrook (1794-1816) was the first wife of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. They eloped when she was 16 and had two children together. He later abandoned her for Mary Godwin. Harriet was found drowned in the Serpentine, a lake in London, aged only 21.
