Character description

Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley (1545–1567), was the cousin and second husband of Mary, Queen of Scots, who gave him the titles Duke of Albany and King Consort. Like Mary, he was in the direct line of succession for the throne of England. He died under mysterious circumstances that have fascinated historians for centuries.
