Character description

John Kemp, Archbishop of York (1426-1452) and Archbishop of Canterbury (1452-1454). He was Chancellor at the time when Henry VI went mad. Kemp's death caused a governmental crisis, since the government required either a king of a Chancellor and Henry VI was not in position to name a new Chancellor. The result was York's first Protectorate.
