Lady Caroline Blackwood (1931-1996) was an aristocratic British beauty and heiress who served as a literary and artistic muse, and became a journalist, memoirist, and novelist herself. She was well-known for her tempestuous personal life and serial marriages to artist Lucian Freud, composer Israel Citkowitz, and poet Robert Lowell.
