Character description

Mary II (1662–1694) was the elder daugher of King James II and Anne Hyde. She and her husband, William, Prince of Orange, helped overthrow her father in the Glorious Revolution of 1688. Afterwards they reigned jointly, and William inherited the throne on her death.
