Character description

Mary Darby Robinson, nicknamed "Perdita" (1757-1800) was an English novelist, poet, and actress. She was famous for performing the role of Perdita in Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale," which is how she attracted the attentions of George, Prince of Wales. They were lovers for a short time.
