Character description

Dinah Tupper, relict of Thomas Tupper, a soldier who died at Scutari, Turkey during the Crimean War, is the Cockney landlady of Enola Holmes.   She knows Enola as Ivy Meschle.   Mrs. Tupper is quite deaf.   She is a kindly woman, perhaps around 50, but a terrible cook.  She employs Florrie as a maid.
