Muriel Gardiner-Buttinger. née Morris (1901-1985) was a distinguished American psychoanalyst, specializing in the treatment of disturbed children. As a medical student in Vienna in the 1930s, she served in the resistance movement and helped to save hundreds of people from the Nazis.
