Olimpia Maidalchini (1591-1657), married name Olympia Pamphili or Pamphilj, was the influential sister-in-law of Cardinal Pamphilj, later Pope Innocent X. Donna Olimpia served as the pope's advisor and minister of finance, and was hated by many Romans for her wealth and ambition.
