Character description

Sibylla (c. 1160–1190) was Queen of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem from 1186, following the death of her brother Baldwin IV (the "leper king"), and Countess of Jaffa and Ascalon from 1176. Her husband Guy of Lusignan was crowned king by right of their marriage. Sibylla was the half-sister of Queen Isabella I of Jerusalem, and the mother of King Baldwin V. She died in a disease epidemic with her two young daughters.
