Character description

Several Welsh historians alleged that Henry VII of England, while in Brittany, fathered a bastard son, later known as Sir Roland de Vielleville, otherwise Velville, Veleville etc. While Veleville (constable of Beaumaris castle, 1509 until his death in 1535) certainly existed, the allegation probably only dates back to Angharad Lewis's essay, A history of the island of Mona or Anglesey (1833).
