Stagolee (sometimes Stackerlee, Stagger Lee, etc.): Title character in the ballad of the same name. He is often called "Bad Man Stagolee." He plays cards with Billy Lyon(s), loses, and shoots Lyons. Stagolee is captured, tried, and hanged.
