Character description

The Unicorn: Unicorn are characters in many folktales and stories; this item refers specifically to the Unicorn of Through the Looking Glass. We find him contesting the crown with the Lion, based on an old rhyme. Neither is shown as victorious in the book. It is believed that Tenniel's illustration of the Unicorn is supposed to be based on Disraeli.
