Character description

Thomas Mellon of Mellon, Webster & Mellon, was the lead attorney in Eric Thomas' law suit against Ford.   Eventually, the suit was dropped, with revelations about Eric Thomas' lies, especially his denial that he was having an affair with his second wife, Stephanie, while married to his first wife.   Mellon stated that he still believed that Tracy Thomas was killed by the airbag, but the cost of the suit, which his firm had taken on contingency, and the damage done to the case made it inadvisable to pursue it.
