Character description

Thomas Lewis was a lawyer who was hired to help defend Jane Anderson who was accused in the murder of her husband George Anderson (d. May 15, 1856). She was tried in conjunction with his nephew, Theodore Anderson, alleged to by Jane's lover. The lawyers for both worked as a team for both the accused; the pair were acquitted.
