Description: A group for those interested in community technology; appropriate, human-scale, and intermediate technology; open-source software, music, publishing, and manufacturing models; fair trade; the solidarity economy; community-supported agriculture; the informal and household economy; LETS and other local barter and alternative currency systems; microenterprises; desktop manufacturing; worker and consumer cooperatives and self-management; and generally, in promoting these things as an alternative to the present centralized, corporate economy.
