Author Theme Reads

This group has become officially dormant. It happens. If you want to revive this group, or create a new group on the same topic see this page.

This group is currently defunct as I am no longer as active a reader as before. If anyone would be interested in taking over administration of this group, please send me a private message.

This group is for readers who wish to focus on one author at a time, in an effort to understand the development of an author's writings, literary technique, and general viewpoints on life.

There is no 2015 author or mini-authors as I am too busy to moderate the group in 2015. If someone would like to take over for a while or would like to start a group read, however, please feel free to do so or contact me, the administrator/creator of the group.

2013:Emile Zola, Honore de Balzac, Guy de Maupassant, Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir
2012: Shusaku Endo, Natsume Soseki, Kobo Abe, Ryu Murakami, Yuko Mishima
