Our Mission:

IMAGO DEI is an interdisciplinary, ecumenical Christian organization that seeks to understand and cultivate the relationship between Christianity and the arts. We have two focal points:

1) The study of Christianity and the arts, and

2) the practice of the arts in a Christian context.

Our Vision:

To partner with regional Christian arts organizations and support the work of churches and individuals engaged in arts ministry.

To plant seeds of change in:

*Christian People

To help them understand that they are creative people made in the image of a creator God, leading to increased awareness of the fact that at a certain level, all people are artists.

*Artists

To help them achieve a new identity - viewing themselves as Christian artists, integrating their faith and their work into one coherent whole.

*Churches

To help them understand that arts ministry should exist as a fundamental ministry area alongside other ministries.
