For those interested in studying and discussing the book of Isaiah. The initial plan was to have a discussion thread through the summer, hoping to cover a chapter a week. Appropriate topics include historical consideration, devotional thoughts, Hebrew or Greek translational points, and resources. I would hope for both Jewish and Christian perspectives, as well as Ancient Near East perspectives. A new group was recommended rather than running multiple threads through the Christian group, an especially appropriate recommendation given that Christian perspectives are not the only welcome approach.

Update November 2009: I have been inactive in this group because my personal reading has focused on other areas. Please feel free to comment or to start another topic. I will certainly join in with you, but I will probably not start new studies in Isaiah until the Summer 2010.
