Literary Journals (Periodically Appear)

Description: For those of us who don’t mind spending $ on periodicals that cost more than actual books – when the quality is top-notch – a.k.a. McSweeney’s, VQR (The Virginia Quarterly Review), The Believer, Granta, Pynchon Notes, etc…

Also for those of us who buy the occasional magazine for a specific short story or two, usually smashed betwixt the pages of The New Yorker, Esquire, Rolling Stone, Atlantic Monthly, or some weird-glossy indie-rock short-lived publication that tries to get all hip and whatnot.

And don't forget the free online ones!! Usualyy they're free, and don't take up precious shelf-space.

Anyway, a better description of the reading material will present itself soon. Just like the beginning heartbeats of an infant needing regular injections of malice, dread, modernism, irony, sweetness, exposition, and literary intent, I welcome you all.
