Robert Anton Wilson is a prolific author with a razor-sharp intellect who enjoys playing with ideas and questioning ( as wel as encouraging his readers to question) all orthodoxies. One effect of his books is to help one to see one's own narrow "reality-tunnel" and to become aware of the wide range of other possible views of the world.
His books range from the anarchic and very funny "Illuminatus" Trilogy through historical novels to books of ideas and social commentary. RAW is often funny and always upbeat about the future of humanity.
