VictorianaDescription: A group for those who read and collect books about and from the Victorian era, everything from the multi-volume diaries of Gladstone to Anne Perry mysteries. The focus, obviously, is on Britain, but we can (and I think, should) include the British Empire and all its pink shaded bits on the atlas, Europe, North America and anywhere else that fits. "Inclusive" is what I have in mind, as long as it is from the era of Victoria's reign (1837-1901). I am aware that there is another group for 18th-19th century Britain, but their focus is more on Georgian and Regency. No one else seems to be focussing on the Victorians!
