Advertisement text: "To be Sold by Publick Vendue at the Dwelling-House of the late Rev. Mr. Joshua Gee of Boston, on Wednesday next the 31st of August, at 3 o'Clock P.M. Sundry sorts of Houshold Goods, consisting of Plate, Beds, &c. Also the next Day at 3 o'Clock P.M. will be sold the Library of the said Mr. Gee at the Dwelling House aforesaid, consisting of the best of Authors both in Divinity and History, and in Greek, Latin, French and English; a Catalogue of which as well as an Inventory of the Goods may be seen at the Place aforesaid the Morning before the Sale begins.

The Dwelling House of the said Deceased is to Lett. Enquire at the said House the lower End of Back Street."

The first section of the advertisement for 1 September 1748 is edited slightly: "To be Sold by Publick Vendue at the Dwelling-House of the late Rev. Mr. Joshua Gee of Boston, This AFTERNOON at 3 o'Clock P.M. Sundry sorts of Houshold Goods, consisting of Plate, Beds, &c. Also the Library of the said Mr. Gee, consisting ..."
