Notice text: "We hear from Dunstable, that on the 11th Instant, the Dwelling-House of the Rev. Daniel Emerson of that Town was consumed by Fire, with his Library, Furniture, &c."

N.B. At the time of writing Emerson lived in what was part of Dunstable, MA; it later became what is now Hollis, NH.
An active subscriber to books, including works by Prince and Edwards, and was a member of the Hollis Social Library (see Sibley's 10:359-364).
