Advertisement text (7 December 1730): "A valuable Collection of BOOKS, many of which exceeding Rare, in Hebrew and other Oriental Languages, Greek, Latin, French Dutch, & English, in divers Arts & Sciences, being the more Learned part of the Libraries of the Rev. The 1730 advertisements suggest that the remnants of the libraries of Rev. John Oxenbridge and Rev. Thomas Thacher were sold along with the library of Rev. Peter Thacher (who married Oxenbridge's daughter Theodora).
