Blackstone's library is generally described as containing "some 160 volumes" plus "ten manuscript books." It was destroyed during King Philip's War, which broke out soon after Blackstone's death.

- "3 Bibles, 10s. 6 English books in folio," valued at £2/10

- "3 Latin books, in folio, 15s. 3 do. large quarto," valued at £2/15

- "15 small quarto, £1 17s. 6d. - 14 small do. 14s," valued at £2/11/6

- "30 large octavo, £4 - 25 small do. 1 5s," valued at £5/5

- "22 duodecimo," valued at £1/13

- "53 small do. of little value," valued at 13 shillings

- "10 paper books," valued at 5 shillings
