K.J. Larsen signs Some Like It Hot It's a week before Thanksgiving. PI Cat DeLuca has tailed a client's husband and his lover to a Bridgeport pub where she snags the photos she needs to tie the finishing bow on another case. Cat sips her beer and is thinking about lunch when a man dressed as Santa Claus walks into the bar. He speaks briefly with the bartender and disappears behind doors designated Employees Only. Ten minutes later there's a commotion and Santa charges out. Santa's eyes meet Cat's and flash recognition. The man in the Santa suit is BillBonham, class clown from Cat's days at Bridgeport High School. ----Garret shoots a goofy grin and tweeks a thumb/pinky to his ear. Call me.
Bill (AKA Santa) was working a case when chased from the pub. His client is Lynn Leigh, a former bartender at O'Dwyer's Pub. Lynn left her job (and town) abruptly ten years ago after witnessing a murder. Soon Cat is involved in this investigation and calling on her past cases to get to the bottom of a case that leaves her wondering whether she likes the heat or should just get out of the kitchen.
“K.J. Larsen” is actually three sisters. Two of them, Kari and Juli, will be here to sign.
She will be on hand to sign books and speak informally to her fans. All we ask is you purchase one of her new books at our store, so we can continue to host these great events! (SeaMystery)… (more)
