About my libraryA really weird combination.
Some adventure / fantasy books from when I was younger.
Some young adult fiction from my early teens.
Some adult fantasy and sci-fi.
Some classic works such as 1984, Animal farm etc.
My most read books generally involve either magic, gods or other worlds.
I can't stand Lord of the Rings.
I still enjoy reading Young Adult books.
I try to complete every series I start.

I'm replying to your post about Trudi Canavan's books. I'd recommend having a look at www.voyageronline.com.au. I see you've allready got Fiona McIntosh in your library (& in your comments) & there are a few more Voyager authors who I think have a similar feel :)
I cant post about recommendations without mentioning a few of my faves in case you havnt allready read them (they're not necessarily similar to Trudi, but WELL worth a read IMHO):
Robin Hobb's six duchies books are my all time faves, I re-read one of the trilogies every couple of years just to dive back into the world i fell so in love with for a while. There are 9 books in total, split into 3 trilogies, Farseer, Liveship Traders & Tawny Man. Liveship Traders is probably my fave, but Farseer is set before liveships so I'd recommend starting there.
I'd also recommend you check out Karen Miller's Kingmaker/Kingbreaker duology.
Enjoy

Or try your local public library - they may have copies and most now have online catalogues to check.

have you tried Barbara Hambly? She has written a lot but her best are The Walls of Air trilogy starting with The Time of the Dark and the Antryg set starting with "The Silent Tower".
