Hello Gidget,

100 pph is quite impressive, how many books a week? My children love Harry Potter, but hardly read anything else - too much TV and internet! I'm sorry I can't add any suggestions for you. What can you suggest for avid HP readers?

hey sorry it's taken awhile to get back to you about the dh club. i haven't logged on for awhile. i sure will join! thanks!
I saw you on lilysong or something's page and you seemed cool. We only share 12 books, but ah well. Since you love Twilight (me as well!!) I was wondering if you've read Eclipse?? I might get it today, but I'm super bummed I dont have it already. And there's a fourth book as well!! It's sad that Harry Potter is over because as long as she kept writing well, I would have kept reading :D

Well, just checking in and meeting people. What's great about this website is that people love to read as much as I do, and there arent many people that like to read in my group of friends! Um... one suggestion, if any, read Terry Brooks' series Shannara, awesome series since you want to go into Sci- Fi.
sure sure... just waitin to discuss it out...
Oh hey, I've been in solitude-middle-of-nowhere-PA, but I finished the book within six hours (yeah, pulled an all nighter). I think it's the best!
... I haven't even received it yet, and in fact just finished the Order of the Phoenix a few days ago. (Not that I'm that slow a reader, I moved in the middle of it and finally found it again).

I'll try to remember to pop back in when I've finished ...
Thank you for the HP book invite. I read slowly compared to you. But I will join eventually
I dont have a favorite... though Rent comes close. Yes... I just rant sometimes... I cant help it. NOT like I'm egotistical or anything... I'm just too easily amused by writing things. You seem cool as well. Ta... and keep in touch.
I am reading Little Women for school but then I just started Crank. All of our library books for school are due friday and I know I won't have time to checkout and ready anymore but during the lock-in, I wrote down a list of everybook I wanted to read. Here are some: TTFN, The Secrets of Peaches (I can't wait to read it, but you have to read Peaches first),Confessions, Impulse, The Night Room, Trigger, Broken Mood, Set in Stone, The Killing Sea, I Just Hope it's Lethal, and The Breakup Bible. The backs of them all sounded so interesting so I'll have to start this summer. You know what I think is amazing, every time I walk into the library, there are new books. These authors are always on a roll, I need like a year to read all of the first ones. Then they can write new ones.
you got a girlrind
OMG it was sooo AWESOME!!!!!!! We played Jeopardy with books that are on the battle books list and that took like 2 hours. Then we watched Eragorn and discussed it. I was surpised at how much they left out. By the time we finished that it was midnight so we started our crafts. We made magnets out of those little clear rocks that go in like fish bowls and mini pictures from magazines. The rocks enlarge the picture or what ever you put under it. Then we ate lots of food and listened to music and went on our book club blog. Then it got really late so we divided into reading and movie watching sections. I feel asleep at the begining of Hitch and woke up to the very end of The Chronicles of Narnia. Some people stayed up all night. In totaly, I was at the school for 24 hours strait. We made shirts that say "We love the library so much we sleep there". It was really fun. One of the librarians there made brownies and bought a cookie cutter that is the library symbol and cut them out. She even frosted little faces and titles of books on all of them. It was just so great. Also, we got a new shipment of books so now I have to add 186 books to my wishlist!!! Did you know there is a sequel to Peaches? I am anxious to read that. We had raffels too and decided to make this an annual thing.
LOCKIN TONIGHT!!!!!!! I'll tell you all about it tomorrow!!!
We changed it to May 11th. But there's going to be crafts and games and stuff. I am really excited! There will be no boys so it won't be so akward. Do you have any cool ideas to pass on?
Sweet! Anyone who likes Harry Potter and musical theater is cool to me. Right now, I am in the process of auditions for "Oklahoma!" I thought I was in the chorus because I am too young to get one of the leads, but I got a callback from the director and he wants me to audition again, so I am excited for that. The last play I was in was "Seussical the Musical". I hated that musical sooo much. lol
Cool; that sounds nice. Thank you very much! ^^

Any suggestions for good books in the same realm as "Twilight" or "Ender's Shadow?" I seem to have read all of the ones they've suggested. : P
how's it going? i haven't been on in a while. i'm glad you had fun at your lock-in. we thought ours was cleared but then a guy said that he wanted to come too. so now we have to have a male teacher with us. its going to be weird. i was looking at the list of users and some of them have the stangest names! they are so unique, like yours! the stories behind the names must be pretty interesting!
It's cool that you are having a lockin. We just got it cleared with the principal to have one in April. I can't wait!!! It's going to be weird sleeping at school though :)
I am reading PEEPS and I finished Are We There Yet?. That one was pretty good although I didn't like the ending. PEEPS is a little weird. Every chapter seems like it starts out with the history of some sort of parasite. It's very...interesting. I have to start Criss Cross soon because my school book club is meeting next week to discuss it.
That's AWESOME! what book are you reading now?
do you still remember everything you've read or does it just leave?
WOW!!! You're pretty much incredible! I'm a fast reader but not that fast. So you must finish books in like a day! Did you learn or practice or what?!?!
