Was 18rabbit from Palenque? Ever get down there? I've traveled some through Yucatan, Guatemala and Belize. This isn't the time though. Tikal is probably a circus.

You aren't an ancient mayan king, by chance? ;-)
Thanks Bill.

While perusing LT for member recommendations (etc.), I stumbled upon one of yours for "Lucia", by E. F. Benson. I have met "Queen Lucia", travelled with "Lucia in London" and now I am about to meet "Miss Mapp".

As much as I laugh at them, I also am too frequently laughing at myself. Granted, I was a caddy at the Park Ridge Country Club. But, these foibles also fit my fishing buddies (especially me), etc.

I was very much looking for a small set of mysteries, with a finite set of enjoyable characters. These six novels (and one short story), are going to work very well.
