About meyeah thats me in the photo. about 2 years ago at work. i was obviously having a good day...lol
i love books. i work in a bookstore. i haunt libraries. isn't that enough about me?
i have 2 pups (max & dora) and a kittykins named lambchop (long story).
i'm currently learning violin (there are days i'd like to burn that thing) and i'm also attempting to learn acoustic guitar. i must be nutz!
i'm also an Enlish major returning to school (yikes at my age too!) hoping to one day complete my bachelors.
i've lived in florida for the last 11 years, but i grew up in NYC.
About my libraryi'm trying to keep track of the books i have and where they are.
its funny but going through my collection i can tell how my tastes in literature has changed over the years. i can also tell how my favorite authors have changed over the years as well. some of them NOT for the better in my humble opinion...lol
my book interests run the gamut...from romance, scifi, mystery to gardening, arts and crafts w/herbs, candles soaps, new age and pagan. i'm not a big lover of the classics though i do try to read a few over the summer.

(Henri Nouwen)
When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives
mean the most to us,
we often find that it is those who,
instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures,
have chosen rather to share our pain
and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.
The friend who can be silent with us
in a moment of despair or confusion,
who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement,
who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing
and face with us the reality of our powerlessness,
that is a friend who cares.
