About meI was born in 1935. I graduated from the University of Oregon in Economics (1960) worked at the local, state and federal government levels in city planning, economic development and public administration until late 1986. My government career came to an end with a heart attack and subsequent heart transplant (twice: 12/31/1986 and 8/17/87). Since that time I have been a Bible student and teacher.

About my libraryMy library emphasizes commentaries and doctrinal and reference books dealing with Holy Bible subjects, particularly works that come from writers loosely known as "Plymouth Brethren" (1825 on).
I have also collected works by some their successors: C. I Scofield; Lewis Spery Chafer and others from the early history of the Dallas Thological Seninary; William R. Newell and others associated with the Moody Bible Institute; and Watchman Nee (pre-WWII writings) and Miles J. Stanford, both of whom relied heavily on Plymouth Brethren sources.
Hy. Pickering wrote a book entiled "Chief Men among the Brethren" which listed many early founders of the Plymouth Brethren movement which provided my "Want List".

Interesting name here. I thought you might be in TX. I found it interesting that you're the only one I share The Glorious Church and Orthodoxy of the Church with.
I also find it SO interesting that you're in Eugene! I've been contemplating a possible move there to study environmental literature. What's it like there now? I bet you've seen so many changes there.

I'd love to hear about them, and about your studies.
