About meHi there! I graduated in May '08 with my Masters degree in Library and Information Sciences. I am now the Director of Libraries at an independent school in Jackson, Mississippi!

About my libraryI'm mostly keeping track of the YA books I have been reading. I may eventually add ALL of my books to the collection... but for now this works.

You asked me this MONTHS ago, but I'm only getting around to answering your question. And the answer, to warn you, is ridiculously dweeby-- squee-tastic is a term I made up, and it comes from "squee" in fangirl/fanboy culture, where it became shorthand for the absurd noises of glee fans would make when couples they loved got together/had romantic encounters-- so, like plots involving Rose and The Doctor on Doctor Who or Ron and Hermione fighting over the Yule Ball in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I've adopted the term here as shorthand for any book that has a particularly satisfying romantic plot line.

So yeah-- dweeby and long overdue, but I hope informative.
I think your disappointment is normal for many degree programs at many institutions. As I've started my MLS at Mizzou, I too am disappointed with the content. I look at the degree as the key that opens the door to many interviews.

I'm also a Buckeye. Where is your hometown, and where did you do your undergrad?
Hi Sara,

What prompted you to go to KSU from Las Vegas? I did a music degree at KSU, graduated 2004. Now living in Nebraska and doing an MLIS from Missouri with F2F at UNO.

What's the best thing about your first year at Kent?
