About meFormer Minister of Silly Walks. Currently not expecting the Spanish Inquisition.

When I'm not torturing grannies with the comfy chair, I can usually be found writing the hours away, or lost in the deepest fathoms of a behemoth book.

Or playing Penguin Blocks. Probably that last one.

About my libraryI've read and loved more books than are accounted for here in my library. Before joining LT, I never kept track of what I read, much less what I thought of each book. To make matters worse, I'm easily distracted and mentally cluttered, which means I often forget to add what I've read. Bad me.

The date a book is added doesn't necessarily correspond to when I read it. For example, I've recently begun going over all the pagan/spirituality books I've read in the past, entering and rating as I remember them.

I felt the same way about Sunshine. She has done several interviews where she has said that she has no intention of doing a sequel. What I would love actually would be a prequel about the wars. That would be great. Maybe she will change her mind one day.

I have noticed that the Kim Wilkins books are very expensive too. I wonder if they are easier and cheaper to get in Australia.

My friends usually go with me to the FOL booksale but this year they have flaked out on me. It makes me sad because we have all gone together for like the last 6 years but this year they said they are all broke. Give me a break, the books are like a dollar and they buy Starbucks everyday. Oh well, everyone has their priorities I guess. That just means more books for me. :)

Where do you live? Is your FOL sale a good one? Ours is pretty big but the last few years have been kind of slim pickings compared to previous sales.
No I haven't read Chalice. That is high praise to say it was better than Sunshine. I loved that book. I don't think I have read anything by Robin McKinley that I haven't loved. I will have to look for Chalice at the FOL booksale at the end of February. :)

I see you have Kim Wilkins in your library. Have you read anything of hers besides Autumn Castle and Giants of the Frost? I have read both of those but have been having a hard time finding anything else by her.
We do share an interesting assortment of books! Good to "meet" you :) , and good reading!
Thanks! I hope you come across some you haven't read yet and maybe find a few new authors/books. :) It's great to "meet" a fellow book-a-holic who loves the same genres as I do.
I echo your sentiments about Review Thumbs, Flagging, & TOS. Thanks again 9days. ER
I've enjoyed reading your Talk comments (recently and in the past) about LT conversation behavior and suppression of "offensive" or dissenting opinion. Appreciative, ER
Using IE worked, which sucks...'cause I can't stand IE in comparison with Firefox. Thanks so much for helping, though.
I'd reply to you on Talk if I could :P

But with the tags, I did try to go to another page and come back. I even cleared my cache and the tag I tried to enter was not there. I couldn't edit the entry to indicate this, but it also happens with every field in the list view that accepts a double-click for editing. The star rating works fine, but I can't edit without going to the individual entry page.
