About meI'm a law student and former history teacher. In college I majored in history and french with a minor in linguistics, and my husband majored in computer science and physics. We just finished a massive purge of our library, though you can't tell it from looking!

About my libraryPretty much anything is up for sale at this point - law school is expensive! The only exception is that all of my French literature books (classiques larousse, for the most part) are in storage for the moment.

Noticed you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark (like Trainspotting). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

This is a request for information. Our museum collection has a copy of The Atlantic Readers Sixth Book. This anthology for use in schools was published by T.Nelson and Sons some time after 1916. (The date of the most recent item) Unfortunately, the publisher's information page has been excised from the book.
I would like to add a more exact publication date to our records, together with an address for the publisher. (Edinburgh? Edinburgh and London? Edinburgh, London and New York?, or since this is possibly a North American publication, just New York?)

Any help you would be able to give would be appreciated.
Thank You.

I hope none of those are _my_ Elizabeth Peters. I will know whenever I get finished with my library!
Very funny, dear. Actually, I started with my to-read shelf - so maybe I'm only planning on reading smart things!
I think you are putting in all your smart books first!
